Colombian productions keep coming to Netflix. After the premiere of Delirio in July, the first season of La huésped arrives at the end of September, a psychological thriller with touches of eroticism that invites you to immerse yourself in the darkness and human fragility, exploring the desires, revenge and destructive power of its characters.
The story centers on Silvia, a woman going through a marital crisis with her husband, Lorenzo. To gain perspective, he travels abroad and meets Sonia. The connection between the two women revitalizes Silvia, giving her the strength she needs to face her problems: her relationship with Lorenzo, her daughter’s addictions and her own demons.
However, what began as a comfort becomes a threat. Sonia knocks on the door of Silvia’s “perfect” life with a single, dangerous intention: to get Lorenzo out of the picture.
